Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Our website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We review conformance at each major content update and remediate any issues identified.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML5 with appropriate landmark roles.
- Descriptive alt text on all informative images; decorative images marked null.
- Minimum 4.5:1 color contrast for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Keyboard navigability with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- One H1 per page with logical heading hierarchy; no skipped levels.
- Form fields with visible labels and appropriate ARIA attributes.
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- Captions and transcripts on all video and audio content.
- No reliance on color alone to convey meaning.
- Testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
